Italy and wine are inseparable. It's a great experience visiting the wineries and the local wine shops where you can take your own trunk or bottle for  filling from the large tanks.

There is LOTS of good wine! And these are the wines that taste best when one sits on the terrace in Serrapiana looking over the valley.

Are you a bunch of friends on holiday and wishing to taste some local wine?

It is possible to organize this at home in the house in Serrapiana; for example on the terrace, in the cantina (sort of a cellar) or indoors in the house. Therefore there is no need to drive and all can participate in the "tasting".

Wine tasting is arranged and carried out by Heiko Vermeulen, who moved to Lunigiana area many years ago. He runs a little farm growing fruit and vegetables for the family's livelihood. 
For €160,00, six people can participate.  The charge covers wines and small samples of the local specialties.

An agreement can also be made with Heiko, on what types of wines you wish to taste, ask f.eks. wines from the Lunigiana area!

Don't hesitate to contact Heiko - he speaks fluently english.
